United Kingdom here I am !!!!
7th Sept - Arrived Heathrow Airport London at 6.30am
On arriving in UK I was met by Ian aka redfearnian and he helped
me collect my hire car and guide me out of London. Thanks heaps Ian for helping
me I really did appreciate it. See ya soon when I back in London.

London - Worcester - 134 miles.
I immediately set off in Sash's direction, and as I was so not
organized for this leg of my trip, I thank Sash so much for allowing me to crash
at his place. And crash I did....after the initial jet lag period and a day or 2
catching up, the dreaded flu got me big time. I spent all day Tues/Wed totally
bedridden and a week later I am still not right. Oh well Shit Happens I guess. I
had been lucky up until now to not encounter any sickness at all.

Needless to say I haven' t done any sightseeing yet or venturing
too far the way I feel at the moment. Sash and I did manage a few trips into
town, he took me down the oldest street in Worcester. The quaint little
buildings and the cobbled streets are so unique. We also passed Guildhall once
again the architecture was unreal.

Sash has been a great nurse and really looked after me, and for
that I thank you so much Sash. Tomorrow I'm heading to Scotland to see Charlie
and take in some sights, then work my way back down again. Meeting as many as
possible along the way. I now have a phone and number is... 07505 216799.
Give me a buzz if you wanna meet me too !!!
18th Sept - Worcester to Glasgow - 302 miles

I arrived at Charlies late afternoon and was greeted by Charlie's
family, hubby Alan and children Rachael and Christopher.

Friday we visited Bothwell Castle was built in 1242, it was never
completed and is the finest piece of medievil military architecture in Scotland.

Saturday we set off for St Andrews, being a golfer I just had to
visit the Old Course. I couldn't believe how picturesque and well manicured it
was, also set right in the heart of the village. After walking around the
village we grabbed some fish n chips in the next village and sat with kids in
the park for lunch. Was a really nice day.

Sunday we took the train into Glasgow. We walked quite a bit
around the city taking in the sights...it wasn't long before I got my true taste
of Scotland....I could hear the piper, then sure enough there he was kilt n all
entertaining the Sunday shoppers in the city. We walked up to the Cathedral, and
when I say up.. omg uphill all the way.....I sure did get my exercise there. The
walk was well worth it, it was breathtaking. Also walked past the oldest house
in Scotland. We then bussed back into the city centre...lol. Treated ourselves
to a Chinese buffet lunch, figured we had earnt it after the walking we did. But
after lunch we then had to walk some more to walk that off.... we went for a
lovely stroll down by the river before heading back to Central Station to catch
the train back home. I really enjoyed the day and finally felt like I was
actually in Scotland. lol

Charlie it was a pleasure to meet you and your children are
adorable. Thanks for sharing your home and thanks Alan for the lovely meals. Do
you hire him out Charlie?? lol

Left Scotland and headed back down south, the drive through
countryside was really nice, everything is so green and lush, but is that any
wonder with the amount of rain they get here...lol

I made my way into the city of Liverpool, had a walk around the
city centre for a few hrs and managed to stumble upon Mathew Street, the
birthplace of the Beatles.

I left the City Centre and met up with Ash aka pashyashy Head
Admin of Wolfsden and his daughter Ellen for coffee. Was nice to meet you Ash
and chat for few before I hit the road again. Ellen is sweetheart too.

Wednesday Sash and I set off for a little sightseeing and to meet
up with Jules aka julestay. We headed off to Stonehenge was unreal to see just a
pile of rock.. lol but jokes aside the history attached was amazing. Sash did
also get to meet a few of his cousins....baaaaaaa!!!!!! lmao

We then drove through some very beautiful countryside, I think my
navigator took me through every back road possible... lmao. We did pass through
several quaint villages and the roads omg so bloody narrow !!!! I see now why
the majority of people in UK drive tiny little cars...lol

We met up with Julie and her hubby Richard in Bath at the Abbey.
Toured through the Abbey it was awesome yet again... We then jumped on the
sightseeing bus and toured the historic city. The architecture simply amazing,
and the history of this city is unreal. I really enjoyed the scenic tour, was
then time to sit and enjoy a cuppa before heading home. Was nice to meet
you Julie and Richard and I enjoyed our time together.
